I've tried multiple brands and styles, I just can't find ones that actually fit.
I have had better luck with Hans, but the ones I have look like they are made for girls even though they are for boys, and it really bothers me.
The ones I just bought are too big in regards to the empty space in the front, they just sit really awkwardly.
Have any of you have had luck with certain brands and/or styles?
Eh...well, I guess it depends on the person but I like to have space in the front, so my post may be useless to you. I hate underwear that clings too much to my crotch, it just triggers dysphoria like crazy for me. I'm not sure what you mean by ones that actually fit, though. I don't think I've ever had that issue other than the crotch issue...?
I 100% second the person who said Fruit of the Loom. I mainly wear boxer briefs with the exception of occasional boxers (in that case I wear Joe Boxer), so I really don't know much about briefs. I'm not really about to spend a lot of money on brands like Calvin Klein and all that, so for me I've stuck mainly to Fruit of the Loom.
I vastly prefer Fruit of the Loom over Hanes mainly for crotch roominess, regular waistband instead of Hanes' soft waistband, and leg length. I go for the mid-thigh boxer briefs (don't like trunks, too short for my tastes) with reinforced leg elastics. I'm kind of picky that way, but Fruit of the Loom does it for me.
When I first switched to boxer briefs I tried Hanes, but Hanes can be too clingy in the crotch for me especially over time as they shrink a bit in the wash, and I also don't like the soft/cloth waistband that Hanes mostly has. In that case, if you don't want a lot of space in the front then Hanes is probably a good way to go for you (the Hanes Classics seem to be the least roomy in the crotch, but tend to be trunk style).
