feeling ugly

 One should not invest in property under a bridge, lest their dignity be trodden upon by the countless pilgrims to cross it.

Back-on-topic... when I feel ugly, I do a few things. I usually avoid mirrors, although sometimes I take a gamble and see if I can get a good angle in the bathroom mirror; it's important to make sure of dim lighting, to hide many imperfections and such. When this pays off, it is all that is needed in a day. Additionally, I will dress in more ordinary, less-revealing clothes. Often this is to avoid thinking about my lack of breasts, but it can apply to any other problem... one significant such thing being body hair I have failed to remove out of either laziness, or lack of necessity.

I also fish for compliments, complain about how terrible I look, and try to remember things that help me remember that somehow, people think I'm beautiful.
