I dont belive there more or less gay/bi/queer transpeople than cisgenders..
I just belive transgender people tend to be more openminded about it because its harder to be trans than to have another sexualety.
if your can handle being out as trans then you can probebly also handle being out as gay/bi/queer whatever.. ::)

I think there is quite a lot of truth in that. There have been societies in human history which were a bit less uptight about sexuality and where bisexuality was the norm. However, I do have a feeling that our rates might also be somewhat above the standard due to our odd hormone mixtures. For example, we know that cis women who were exposed to extra T during fetal development have a higher than average rate of being lesbian. Which would explain some of the awesome level of queerishness among trans girls. ;D

They only surveyed 1,800 people.
I don't think this could possibly be an accurate representation.
Also, the explanation for queer being so high in the transguys category might have something to do with guys that are stealth feeling discomfort in answering this type of survey; queer people are usually also non-binary to some extent, so they are less likely to feel uncomfortable with being identified as trans. Even though they surveyed people in fifty states and a couple of other countries, there may have also been a concentration of respondents from queer friendly areas. Is there a part of this PDF where they cite the location of each respondent? Because that may be important in understanding why the survey turned out the way it did...

Are there FTM gays?

1. Are there ftm who love ONLY OTHER ftm's?

2. Are there ftm who love ONLY bio/cis straight men?

3. Are there ftm who love ONLY bio Gay Men?

As a straight mtf, when I embarked in my journey I always thought all mtf were like me but then I was amazed to know that lesbians mtf exist. Some who like only cis/bio women and others who like only mtf, tv etc...and some others love both.

So I wondered if in the ftm world, if it's the same cos I NEVER heard that so far and want to extend my knowledge about this.

Yep! There are ftms with all sorts of preferences :).

I'm FTM.
I'm gay.
I exist...I think.
So, yes.

I have two MTF friends and both are lesbian.

Um... 1800 does make that the largest survey of trans guys like... ever - and that's a pretty decent size sample in general for that kind of survey. But, no it's not a perfect representation. It's just the closest we've seen to date. The explanation of their methodology begins on page 12 of the PDF.

Of the 4 I personally know in real life, 2 are gay, 2 are straight. All different facets do exist.

I identify strongly as a gay man myself and while I've tried my hardest through life to like girls, there's not that same magnetic pull I feel towards men.
So, I exist! :D
