If you were to meet a friend after work and had to order a drink, what would it be ?
I'm not that big on beer so I think I would order a Caesar which is Clamato juice (clam and tomato juice) vodka, drop of worchestershire and tobassco sauce and celery salt rim'd glass.  It sounds boring but it tastes Alright.

Since i'm bigender i have two answers  :P

In boy mode i'd probably have a beer. Girl mode would have a glass of wine.

A pint of Guinness.

I'm bigender too so I guess I have two drinks as well?

Girl mode is definitely a whiskey sour (is that even a girly drink at all, lol), or hard cider

Boy mode is beer, preferably belgian or white ale

OooH
I haven't had Guinness for years. I'm pretty damn sure I couldn't drink a pint of it anymore

I'd have a lemon, lime and soda, or a glass of white wine.

I like a really hoppy IPA or a Chilean or Spanish red wine of some sort. Or of course a local pinot noir.

(this nerdiness brought to you by the corrupting influences of local microbreweries and winemaker friends)

Before I moved to Oregon, if I drank at all it was whiskey or vodka. I thought beer was gross and I was intimidated by wine.

Microbrew. Failing that, Irish coffee.

What is microbrew?

Here are the ones I have access to:
http://oregonbeer.org/portland-metro/

You don't have to click on that, though. It's just small-scale artisan beer, usually a lot higher quality and a bit more expensive than stuff that's more mass-produced, and usually only available in areas local to whatever the microbrewery is.

Oh yeah, a growler of Snow Melt Winter Ale from my local brewery--good for frost removal most anywhere!

Bit of a toss up between a Jim Beam and coke, or a local Pinot Gris white wine.

Not much of a drinker, when I went to the pub with a friend we just shared a Pepsi.

Had a Jagermeister on the rocks and it tasted like cough syrup.

boy or girl, I'd have a Blue Moon.
Do you know the cow?  He is an insolent bastard!

Blue Moon is good, or 1551, Guinness, Sapporo, Dead Guy, or whatever sounds interesting that I haven't tried yet.  Or Corona Light (I don't care if everyone says they're crap).  Or rum & coke.

I prefer a good cider.  But if I'm feeling particularly Kentuckian, I'll have a bourbon and 7-up/ginger ale.

Beer, any of my three locals, Lagunitas, Russian River or Bear Republic Brewing - but the Pliney the Elder by RR in particular.

Wine, it's almost embarrassing what level of wine I can buy here and how cheap it is compared to other places.  I can get Napa/Sonoma wines at less than 50% of what they are paying for them on the East Coast - that is, the ones they even sell on the East Coast.  But on the average you can go to the winery and get stuff for 15-30% off, another 15% off if you buy it by the case (and you can mix cases).
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Had a Black Russian (Khalua and Vodka) last night and it was really good. Problem is, 2 sips and its gone and it's so expensive.

I'm fond of Northern real ale and some belgian beers - though I drink most things people put in front of me, except pernod, I got so drunk on that once and the smell now makes me dry heave.

My friends are very keen on the sambucca or jaegar, we sometimes have jaegar and sega evenings where we crack open the bottle and the old genesis (though here called a mega-drive) and play fifa Italia '90.
