Susan's has been a great experience for me. I have learned more about what and who I am than I have known before. I have been introduced to more alternate lifestyle types than I imagined. It has enhanced my feminine feeling towards myself. I thank those who have made it possible.

I have been a CD for many years (I am 57). Back when I was a kid there was no Internet so any information had to come from your parents or the Britannica Encyclopedia. I told my mom about my feelings once and she said I was a Transvestite. Nothing more was said about it. Now that the Internet is here there is an almost unending source of information for which I am thankful.

I thank Susan's for allowing one to speak freely and openly (with proper guidelines, of course). I have had good correspondence with a few of the girls and thought I was making progress to understand myself as well as supporting them. For some reason, however, the correspondence has stopped. I am not sure if I said something or what? If I have said something that offended someone I am truly sorry.

I realize this is a free world and one can choose who they want to correspond with or not. I respect that. It is just when you think you are making progress in communicating thoughts and ideas and the other person just stops, it makes it kinda hard to understand. I now understand what a girl feels like when the guy says, "I will call you" and never does. It is when you lift your face, walk proud and move on.

I have known two women who owned businesses. One was a Merle Norman Cosmetic store and the other had a lingerie boutique. I enjoyed getting makeovers, manicures and being able to express my feminine feelings with a real woman who understood and would talk to me. Unfortunately, both are out of business. I am back at square 1 in being able to confide with a real person. I miss them but life goes on.

Thanks for letting me get this off my (48C) chest.

Susan,

This online venue makes it tough. Who knows why your contacts quit writing you? you may surprised to learn that it may be nothing on your part.

But you should know that you are welcome in the forum. Eveyone is welcome.

Hi Cindi,
Thank you for the kind words and insight. In this world we are all caught up with change even when we don't want it. Sometimes it is just harder to understand.

I know I am welcome in the forum. I was not concerned about that.
