The Weekly Standard blames a breakdown in its vetting process for an advertisement emailed to readers that warned of a gay conspiracy to "create a new America."

The advertiser, Public Advocate of the United States, claimed "radical homosexuals" such as Rep. Jared Polis of Colorado had infiltrated the government with a plan to "indoctrinate an entire generation of American children with pro-homosexual propaganda and eliminate traditional values from American society."

[...]

The Human Rights Campaign called on TheWeekly Standard's editor, Bill Kristol, a Fox News regular, to condemn the ad. But Politico reports that he won't. Instead, the conservative magazine's publisher has tried to explain how the ad was mistakenly published.

I give it six months until Bill Kirstol is caught with his pants down in a public restroom by an undercover cop.

The content of American Standard is much more offensive then the ads ever could be.  And nothing gets 'mistakenly' published in a national mag - there are simply too many people looking at it and signing off on it for that to ever happen.  Imagine Marinda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada trying to tell someone that something got into her mag 'by mistake.'  Yeah.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...
