I'd try to be more considerate of the people in my life, to take them seriously as human beings, especially in my late teens and early twenties.

I would long ago have stopped giving a crap about what someone else thought about how I should live my life.
I would not have gotten married to someone who considered "people like me" to be immoral perverts.
I would not have hated myself because of my deep dark secret.
