For the perilously insecure amongst us have you tried www.hotornot.com?  Its a site that you can upload pics of yourself and set a profile and then others can rate you, 1 to 10.

May be trivial and really insignificant in the end, i dont know, perhaps thats a personal thing but for now i haven't noticed anything negative in comments and am well above 5 heh heh so  its working for me and is a bit of titilation.  Stumbled across it last night and been waiting for my profile to go live and did so in the last couple of hours, already had 305 votes.
