Now when I look in the mirror what I see that I don't like (from the front view) is I have love handles/muffin top and hips are too narrow. From my waist (below the love handles) it curves out some, back in and then back out at the top of my thighs. Too much of a guys type butt. From the side my profile is nice and have plenty of butt/curves from that angle. I used to ride a bicycle about 4-5,000 miles a year which is probably why.

I talked to the guy who did my nose and he said he can lipo the fat from my muffin top and graft it into this "pocket" area on the side of my hips to give them a rounded curve. I think this would make my figure look very fem and give me a girl butt which would make me pass more from behind as well as clothes fit and look better overall. My body mass index is 23 so I'm not over weight. I've lost down to a body mass index of 21 and this muffin top was still the same size, weight just came off somewhere else.

My question: Has anyone done this and if so how did it turn out, what was the recovery like etc. He's saying the recovery shouldn't be a big deal, just a little sore for a while. I'm not expecting "perfection" but from what I've read HRT doesn't do a lot for this and I need a lot to have a girly figure.

Hi gorgeous,

Fat grafting is something that you will benefit from for a short period of time and in 6 months period the fat will dissolve. I used lipodissolve to sculpt my  body. It is way cheaper then surgery and it gives perfect results. Perhaps that is all you need.

I do not think you should recommend procedures/products that are not FDA approved.

What was explained to me was: If he just transfers a clump of fat it will be absorbed in a fairly short period of time, it can't get fresh blood so it dies. Also you HAVE to do plain lipo, not the kind that kills/disolves the fat cells first. He plans to (using a newer type procedure?) inject very thin "strings" of fat into areas that have a lot of blood vessels (muscle and layers with a lot of blood vessels) so most of the fat won't die. They also separate the dead fat cells out from the live ones. He says from his past experience about 60-75% of it lives and doesn't go away. I'm going to do more research and talk to my other doc etc before I decide. Just was wondering if anyone had tried this type of procedure? If nothing else it should help get rid of my muffin top :P

If you are still opting for surgery I can recommend a VERY good doctor for all kind of body sculpting. I had a lipo done by him and I am super happy with the results. His name is Dr. Alfredo Hoyos in Bogota. He is the world number 1 for fat transfers and body sculpting. And his prices are way more acceptable then the US prices. Goggle him and see what will he recommend for you.
