Stefan

Hello there, my name is Stefán and I'm a 19 year old trans guy from Iceland. I've been on hormones for almost 8 months now but I'm still pre-op.
The main reason why I decided to join this site was to get to know some trans* people from Norway and England.
I'm going to visit England (London) in March this year and it would be great to get to know some people there.
My family is moving to Norway in February and I might join them later this year but I would really like to know how the trans progress is over there.
If anyone in Norway can enlighten me then that would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi Stefan, welcome to Susans! We have lots of posters from Iceland, Norway, and England. But you're stuck with me for now, I live near Boston. There should be a flood of help coming along soon, though. See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn

Halló Stefán, gaman að kynnast þér! I'm not in London, but only a couple of hours away by train. What brings you over here in March?

Hi Stefan,

Welcome to Susan's. Congratulation on getting a head start with you transition programme. I hope you enjoy your stay with us.

A dear friend of mine from Denmark paints a grim picture of the TG community in Western Europe. Particularly Denmark considers trans gender to be a mental disease, that can be cured through such medieval practices as ECT and such like. The communities themselves are not as cohesive and supportive as we are in the West. I certainly hope you can find a strong supportive group to get you through.

There is a large contingent of members here from England. so hopefully you can acquainted with them. Lookforward to hearing more from you in the coming months. Keep in touch and let us know how you are coping. In the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Well, since my family is moving to Norway in February I'm planning on visiting them during my easter break. I'm going to fly to London on the 27th of March and then fly from London to Norway on the 2nd of April. I've always wanted to visit London so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity! :)

Hello Stefan.

I have visited Iceland three times and greatly enjoyed the country and the people.  Someday I hope to return and see more of the country outside of Reykjavik and Keflavik.
