Hey guys!

I'm going to have my surgery in 2 months and I figured out I don't know what should I remember when getting ready for the surgery... I don't know what should I pack, or if I should remember something special on the day before the surgery!

I'd like to hear you telling me something you've find important when preparing for your surgery, or maybe something you didn't realize but later found out it would have been good thing. Thanks!

Hi! I'm also having surgery in about two months, and I've been obsessively searching the internet for ways to prepare and things I might need. One major thing I remember is having everything you might need at or below shoulder height, since you won't be able to lift your arms too far for awhile. Another is plenty of button-down shirts since you won't be able to put on a t-shirt for awhile.

That said, I'll definitely be watching this thread. I really want to be prepared in every way I can. I'll post more tips if I come across them.

Edit: this link is full of tips. http://ftmichael.transboys.info/topsurgery.html
