I had a funny experience the other day. I was walking my dog.  I was dressed very guy, but I don't usually have people think I am a guy. She really likes kids so we went over to interact with this preschool (?) kid. Torie did very well and sat nicely the whole time.

Anyway, afterwards the dad thanks me with "thanks ma'am" so the kid says "thanks man". :)
I think the kid might have heard wrong, hearing man vs ma'am but I am pretty sure the kid still thought "man" would work.
