It seems at some point I purchased Metallica's "Ride The Lightning" CD and I have no memory of this. I was putting away my Minor Threat "Complete Discography" CD and I noticed it in the rack and I was like "wow...cool!" :D So, I decided to throw it on.

It's just weird because usually I can remember purchasing CD's, DVD's, etc. But I have no memory of buying this. Maybe I picked it up on one of my late night grocery runs to the Wal-Monster....I don't know. :D

"John, can you please phone Mary when you have a minute".

... two minutes later ...

"John, can you please call Mary back, she's out of the toilet now and is ready to take your call".

Dave Gahan's smexy dance moves in this 1982 performance of Just Can't Get Enough. I found myself mimicking his moves all round my kitchen, laughing my backside off.

My favourite bits are around 0:48; 1:25; 1:42 and 2:40. Dunno why, but it just tickled me.



And guess what? He still dances like that today. Love it!

Reminiscing about when my mom and step-dad banned me from participating in the naming of my younger stepbrother's pets  >:-)

My mom called me and told me she had told my Grandma that I had gotten a job.  My grandma told my mom that she had been doing a LOT of praying over the lady who basically caused the firing to happen.  She said she had been doing that because she wants to go up to the lady and slap her across the face because NO ONE hurts her baby girl. XD

Even though it involves me being called a girl, it still CRACKED ME UP.  My grandma is one of those cute little old ladies without a mean bone in her.  So to hear her say something like that was HILARIOUS.

I don't remember laughing today, but yesterday I laughed at a bit on the daily show about a (trumped up for laughs) rivalry between tennessee and georgia. I've connections to both locales and I know how badly Atlanta needs water and how tense it is between them and the Carolinas and Alabama, but hadn't seen any Tennessee drama. "Butt-chugging" is a word I really didn't need to learn. xD
