Awww, thank you. Awful lot of makeup in that pic though! lol

I've been on HRT for 15 months at this point. Started when I was 39. One year of HRT between the photos. Will be 41 the day I'm released from the hospital for SRS in two weeks.

That gives me a lot of hope that maybe someday I'll be gorgeous too.

Thank you, I think? Never thought of myself as gorgeous though. Can't believe how well things have turned out.

Awww, please don't. There are plenty of women on this site prettier than me. I got a bit lucky and worked my ass off is all (lost 70lbs).

It's not the look that concerns me that much. It's what's behind the look that bowls me over flat. Melody you positively radiate womanhood like a 1000  lighthouses on crack.

If I look east I can see a bright light on the horizon. And that isn't sun rise or New Zealand either. It's midnight here.

I hope you celebrated in Greek style, and raged on for 3 continuous days. You deserve every second of it.

OMG, Maia, I am SO glad you pulled me over to this thread. Yes, it has been a while. I'm about 5 months behind you on HRT, about a year away from GRS (I hope). But my surgery will be covered by Canada's health plan. Anyway, you look spec-freakin'-tacular!!

On Eve's question, just last weekend I was in Toronto attending a conference of dialog between the Transwomen community and the Lesbian community, and it was a very awesome and powerful day. Lots of learning on both sides.

Nice to reconnect Colleen and thank you so much for the compliments. My surgery should be covered by my health insurance. I should hear from them any day on that. They made me jump through a bunch of hoops and provide things not necessary according to the Standards of Care, but I hope it is worth it.
