what a sucky day.
I think I've mentioned that I have this once-in-a-while job where I drive workman's comp patients to rehab. I had to make one of those drives today - to Tupelo.
Halfway there, one of my junky used tires decides to separate so I have to get a replacement before I start home instead of waiting at the clinic for my passenger. in the course of doing that a city cop (who would otherwise never have seen me) gets on my bumper.
Where he can see my expired tag.
so he pulls me over
so he can see my expired insurance.
'Cause, you know, I AIN'T GOT NO F'ing MONEY!
so of course, he rights a couple of citations - and i have to come up with $100 or so to get the tag and the insurance AND ~$350 to pay the tickets (and that's a reduced rate if I prove I got what they want me to have) or work out a payment arrangement (I could arrange to pay them if I ever have any money)
Did I mention I don't have any money?
Even the gas to get down there on court day will pinch.
