Tennessee state Representative Richard Floyd has a problem with the bathroom. Specifically, with who gets to use it. As a result he's decided to file a bill, making it a crime for anyone to use a bathroom – or dressing room – of the sex opposite the one defined at birth.

The bill, HB 2279, reads as follows: (b) Except as provided in [Section] 68-15-303, where a restroom or dressing room in a public building is designated for use by members of one particular sex, only members of that particular sex shall be permitted to use that restroom or dressing room. (c) A violation of subsection (b) is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine of fifty dollars ($50).

Yes, yet again transgender people end up having to play "pee politics."

A bunch of trans women need to show up when he's going to the men's bathroom and see how comfortable that will make him while he's trying to pee.
