Careful to those planning to take Injectable Estradiol Valerate

For me it's the best hormone that suits me and I'm on it for 3 years now. However it's too good that you get addicted to it like a drug specially if you have been taking it for very long.

I'm having VERY BIG problem to ship it to me ever since I moved to Europe as the online pharmacy doesn't ship to Spain. When I stop taking it I feel like someone who hasn't taken drugs and I feel my brain cells 'dry' and all cell membranes pulling off apart. It's a very awful sensation that cannot  be clearly explained. Endos here have prescribed me pills ->-bleeped-<-s that ain't working on me.

Just be careful for those who wanna try it, cos once it enters in your body, you might get stuck with it for life and if you don't get it, I prefer not think. If I don't get shipped from the USA in less than 2 months, I dunno, maybe it might be my final days in this world...

hmm? Personally I've only been on Estradiol Valerate injections.
I know that not taking my injection on time results in unplesant side effects however those are acute menopausal symptoms. (It mucks up your brain)

Are you sure your Estrogen levels are fine on those pills it could be that your levels are out of whack.

Never the less I will consider what you've told me and if my experience is similar I will inform others of this.

What you describe sounds like an uncommon psychological addiction.

Fact is...

Estradiol is a drug.
Estradiol is not an addictive drug in any conventional meaning of the word.
You can become psychologically compelled to partake in nearly any activity.
Estradiol pills are for all intents and purposes chemically identical to the injections (if you want to get technical valerate is a prodrug but as i said, all intents and purposes)

What you have is a psychological compulsion. But to compare it to a drug addiction is somewhat silly.

I have been taking EV shots since 21Nov 2011. I took pills for 4 months before. As far as feeling some kinds addiction to EV I would say no. Now I took a bigger dose of pills than the EV I'm taking now. It still continues to feminize my body just as the estradiol pills did. Its just a lot more convenient to give my self a shot every week. I really cant feel any difference from one to the other. I take enough pills everyday as it is. It one less thing to swallow.

I think I'm in the same position as you. I go to work and school 4 days a week. While not in school I  am able to take my pills in 12 hour cycles and, from my experience, it seems to work better for me. It's impossible to take my hormones on a 12 hour schedule, so I think 1 shot on a day that I have off during the week would be the best thing that could happen to me. I'm very interested in the shots, even though I've never given myself any injections in my life of any kind.

Well I'm taking pills and I forget to take the spironolactone on occasion.
I haven't really noticed any addictions in my life, and I have been interested in the injections.
So I'll take this into account when I go to my doctor next, the psychological thing is probably your deal.
