Icephoenyx,
having BA at the same time a SRS was declined for me due to the 2 hours added OP time to an already long 7 - 8 hours SRS procedure.

If asked now, it was the right decision for me --- how ever if you're lots younger it could be OK.

Yet if you scared now already, I would NOT do BA on top of SRS. It's a lot for your body to handle, in terms of major added general anaesthetic time, discomfort/pain, more drainage, medication, and more difficulties to move about for some time post-op.

I was glad it was declined by my surgeon.
As always.... YMMV

Take care,
Axélle

Hey...... he did that to me too, when I couldn't get the second (larger) one in, or to even seem to be starting.  I too let out a shreik that must have been heard throughout the ward!
...... I popped a few virgins in my prior life and none of them had that kind of reaction, so I think we got a rougher deal with our first penetration!

Lordy Lord,
I had Dr. Sanguan go from #1 to #5 with no issues at all after my last (wall papering) op, 8 days after the main SRS (first op).
# 6 he said, can wait and so it did for a day or too.

His protocol may be taking well care of 'defloration' - bless him for that.
I am pretty fine now to 'handle' 40 - 45mm, well over 1 ½" thickness ~ 1.8".
Just to make sure of having no unpleasant surprises --- if ever :-)

Melody, did you have a 'worst part' or something similar to that end yet? I'm getting mine on the 22nd with Brassard and I am soooo scared! help! I'm getting my BA done too at that time.

Well, unlike Axelle, my surgery was only 4 hours by Bowers. I won't speak to a BA as I did not have one, but the SRS is already uncomfortable and affects your mobility. A BA I imagine would limit your mobility further. As for worst moment, the thing I didn't know was how much pressure would be on the surgery site right away. Felt like someone was leaning an elbow into my bladder. As the days went by, more and more things were removed. At the moment I still have the catheter and packing inside. Those will be removed on Monday. Can't wait!
and i know that i'm never alone
