Painted nails

I don't know why, but I find painting my nails to be a relaxing experience.  Choosing the colour, painting them, and then the dry period.  I use it as a time to be truly me.  I tend to keep my toes in colours, but my fingers I only do when I won't be seeing people I know for a few days.  I leave them clear.  I painted this weekend, and went for a slightly patriotic theme.  The toesies are red, and the fingers are blue.  I really like this combo.  I posted a picture.  I'm not the best painter yet, but I'm working on getting better lighting in my apartment so I can see it better, especially the toes.  Here's a photo of it.  I'm not the best photographer, and it's a phone photo.  What do you think?

I keep my toes painted also right now. I love the feeling I get from painted nails.

for me, nails are kinds like my ties when i was presenting male.

I use colors that match my outfit...and im notorious for changing the colors whenever I feel the nail color will clash with my outfit.
