telling my dad...

So im trying to find the time/ way to tell my dad about all of this... i was thinking about taking him out for a beer but idk, im like 110% sure he will be cool with it... i just dont know how to aproach it.   Because he is always jokeing around with me when he makes referance to me he calls me girl then gosse uhh man or uhh what ever makes you happy and laughs, he is 1000% cool with when i told him that i have a girlfriend and everything, he dosent give 2 sh**s of me being me, i think im just scared of how to aproach this... any ideas? please and thanks

Since he seems like a cool person I think it could be okay to just in person but if not the phone or email may work.  I wouldnt suggest taking him out for a beer though.

Honestly, taking him out for a talk sounds good. Though maybe just taking him some beer home or something and being alone with him seems a bit more intimate and what not. But whatever makes you feel most comfortable. When I told my mom, I sort of got her ready by telling her I needed to talk to her about something important. I didn't really beat around the bush. I just told her I was trans. Your dad seems like an amazing guy. And I think he is hinting towards the trans thing with the man comment. My mom did the same things.
Best of luck and I can't wait to hear how well it goes! Nothing better than having support from a parent. Knowing that they will not stop loving you.

im glad i have a dad like him he is cool and we both like to go out and get a drink or 2 at times i guess its all about the approch lol

Having a supportive parent definitely is the best!!!!! And I know about the spelling! lol I will write a word and be like "that's sooo not how you spell it!" and i will hit backspace and find a substitute! lol
