I've been looking at thier website and was wondering if others here at Susan's have been there and what the experience was like.

Thanks,

Rhonda

I have not but I know a few people who have gone down there in recent years.  They all said that everyone was friendly and that they had a pretty good time (aside from all of the pain that is LOL).

Thanks...I'm not looking forward to the pain either, but then it is unavoidable for this process. Did they like the results? I've read some old postings on TS Road Map, but still was looking for other feedback.

Two friends have been there and both were pleased with the results.  Here's the account of one of them:

She went down for a week.  She wanted to completely clear the face of all active hairs and that's what was figured it would take.  There was a doctor who numbed the face with injections.  Two techs worked on her for 5 hours and additional pain injections were given as necessary.  (You wouldn't be able to handle that many hours with two techs without it.)  She did that for five days straight.  That's 50 hours in a week.  On the plane ride home the fluid from the procedure collected in her chest and looked like a growth.  She gave no indication that she was dissatisfied.

Two months later she returned.  This time they took about 35 hours to completely clear the face.  She returned in another two months and it took about 25 total hours the third time.  After that she visited a local electrologist for the occasional hairs that popped up.

She was very pleased with the results.  I thought her face looked great.  There was no sign of scarring and it was very clear.  The costs are on their website.

Based on what I've seen and heard, if I had the time and money, I'd do it.

When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Thanks for info Julie. 50 hours...ouch! They estimated my time in the chair would be about 30 hours or 2 days with two operators all day long. I keep hearing good things about their work,so I'm tending towards a trip down to Texas.
