Ok, So I am seriously considering going to Dr Saran in Bangkok for my SRS right around the middle of June 2012.
Can anyone who has been to Dr Saran share their experience? They told me they have a suite at the hospital where I could stay for $57 x night I'm wondering if ts worth it or would I be better off at a hotel. I m a bit nervous going all the way to Thailand to have SRS but so far I have read some very positive experiences...
Thank you in advanced...

I've just come back from Bangkok in December.  We went over there for my step-daughters surgery.

We stayed in the suites at the hospital.  They are quite serviceable and comfortable.  For the price and security of knowing that if there are any problems you are at the hospital it is a great deal.  The Piyaveta hospital is one of the best in Thailand, and possibly the world.  The royal family uses it, so I guess that says something.

Also the staff there, both the hospital and the suite associates are quite well versed in English and are quite friendly and helpful.  And funny.  If you decide to go there tell Oy and Jaymes hello from Sandy and June and Christa.

Dr Srun (proper spelling and pronunciation) is very nice and quite personable.  He is a very nice man and a very good surgeon.  Christa's surgery went quite well and she has had a wonderful recovery.  I think that you would do well to go there.

I fell in love with Thailand when I went there.  The people are very nice and the culture is very respectful and spiritual.

If you have any specific questions, PM me or leave a reply.
