Hey Nick, I can honestly say that had I seen these pictures outside of this forum, I never would have suspected you to be FTM! Which only calls for some celebration in your part! Imagine what you will be like on T! Good luck with everything.

That's even more awesome! I love military cuts!

Thanks traivs and stewie, it feels pretty good to hear that honestly  ;D I find that I pass probably 60% of the time. Funny thing is its kinda situational-I have a traditionally "manly" job so I almost always pass at work, but I leave work and its hit and miss.

I hope you don't mind if I drop in quickly, leave my pics, and drop out again. Just not really much to say for me right now. They are from a few years ago when I had short hair which I plan to go back to soon-ish. I haven't officially transitioned in any way, shape or form so no T or whatevs.

Since I posted a "do my legs pass", here's an actual pic of me in "shorts".

Also, I'm not on T and I'm not transitioning. But the normal me is male. I look andro to occasionally male. Most of the time I'm fine with that but now and then or in certain circumstances I'd prefer to be read as male by other people.

This is a shot before I got my hair cut where I didn't straighten it or bother at all with it, just ran my fingers through it out of the shower and this is how it dried. My friends debate on whether I look more male with straightened hair or just natural.

For those that don't know, my "style" is definitely in the "alternative" realm ... think rocker, etc. Think if Joan Jett were actually a dude, that's what I'm going for lol I'm only 5'3" which doesn't help I know but not much I can do about that. I actually look a lot like a 20-something version of my dad as far as facial features/structure goes I just don't have the full-on beard going on.

The other day I was wearing regular jeans and a flannel shirt (about as close to "regular dude" as I can get) and I still got a "can you help this lady" from one of the female clerks at Home Depot. I've got no visible boobs, my hair was a mess and had on all male clothing. I don't know why I let it bother me the other day but it did because to me, there really was nothing lady-like about me. My friend keeps telling me that he thinks people are just not sure about my gender and error on the side of female because they think it's less "offensive" than if you were to call an actual female a man (she'd get offended - where as a man that might have some female features might just brush it off or actively correct someone and move on).

I think you definitely pass on the first picture. It really isn't the hair. You do have a masculine body even if you aren't 50 feet tall! lol trust me, my partner is a lot taller than me but eh, you learn to deal with it.
In the second picture, you have more of an andro look. The lack of facial hair kind of makes one question. You definitely look masculine but there are just hints of femininity there in my opinion.

igotnothing, you pass 100% but for around 12, definitely got a masculine base to work with.

Thanks for the feedback Stewie :)

Hey guys, just looking for some face and voice feedback.  I've been on T for 3 months and 3 weeks and I would like some outside input on my passability.  First two pictures and first recording are from the day I started T and the second two and second recording are from earlier today.  Thanks!

insideontheoutside -  In the first photo you look really like someone I go to school with, only he has a rounder face, but the expression, features and build is pretty much the same, so that's a pass to me.  The second one is also a pass, although maybe I'd question the lack of facial hair like someone else said, people with that style tend to have at least a little bit of stubble going on, although I appreciate T or anything isn't on your cards (I'm kinda the same about transitioning, and get days when I care when people read me as female, and others when I don't so much.)

ty - pass as usual.

Daniel - I think I'd see how you acted IRL to make a full decision, although I probably would read you male at a glance.  Maybe try putting something in your hair to "de-fluff" it a bit more.  The second set are definatly more masculine though.  Sorry I'm not good at judging voice comparisons, I find them a bit awkward to listen to.

wheat thins are delicious

Daniel, those voice comparison links are locked unless you are a member.

Your voice has definitely deepened but it's pretty andro imo, I can read it as teen boy or older woman.
