Hormones and erections

Hello all! I hope no one thinks of this question as ignorant but I was very curious in asking!

I've read everywhere that estrogen and anti-androgens make it more difficult for you to have an erection. But sometimes when I come across transsexual adult films, some of the girls have full on erections. Can anyone explain why that is? Do the hormones really make it difficult to have an erection?

Difficult, but not impossible.

Additionally, professional porn workers also may not be on a strict HRT regimen, and opt instead for only surgery to augment their feminine appearance.

But complete immersion in HRT will result in loss of libido and difficulty in attaining and maintaining an erection and difficulty or complete loss of orgasm, and ejaculation.

To the degree this occurs depends on many factors and is quite different from person to person.

Unfortunately I often wake up with unwanted erections sometimes even after 14 years on HRT!

I'm only on a moderate dose of estrogen and anti andro, but defiantly notice there is a much larger cerebral side to my libido.

Stress, and and emotion never conquered my T driven sex drive, but now the odd though will deflate an erection, if I can get in the mood to want one.

However, if I am truly mentally turned on I maintain an erection, not quite the same pre HRT, but the orgasm is 100x more pleasurable because I can only attain it if I am truly, completely commited to having one, I now see the trouble women have with the O, it's all in your head!

I can still manage at least partially if I am with someone, but solo it's a lot more difficult to achieve and maintain. If my partner didn't like it I wouldn't miss it. Female whole body orgasms are much better anyway in my book.

In my case, with the right fantasy when solo or with the right scenario when with a partner, my junk works better than it did before. Like, seriously. There's a very specific ritual that I go through to get there(basically, foreplaying myself), but once there, he works like a champ. The whole experience is affected by HRT, and certainly different than when I was on testosterone. Also, my libido hasn't decreased one iota - the expression of it has changed. Yay, unicorn me!

An Endocrinologist or Urologist should know the mechanics involved with answering that question, but I heard that very frequent "snake walking" keeps it intact, maybe like dilating? Also heard that helps keep up the "sauce" too. But that could all be malarkey...

from what I've heard, yes. the bigger your set is when pre, the less worry that a skin graft from another area will be needed to achieve necessary depth once post. but depth isn't always as important as looks, esp for a lesbian.

I don't have -usable- erections anymore. It gets turgid, but briefly.

I don't miss them, neither did I ever feel comfortable with them and I am thankful they are gone.

Same here.. I never had morning erections or spontaneous ones either pre-hrt.. some when I was a teenager but not many at all.

i have no interest in penetrating anyone , but i dont want SRS and well besides being penetrated myself , i do enjoy frotting and frotting with a flacid is a little bit akward

Sweety you and me both. It's well, If post op size is related to pre op I'm in luck. But damn I wish I could trade the an FTM.
