Indeed.

I should have gotten up early enough to go to Bible study [an often very intellectually stimulating activity] and subsequent worship service, but I find myself listening to ambient music, absolutely fixated and determined to rid myself of this curse of facial hair.

I must be able to pass and the dermal changes induced by HRT notably accentuated the contrast between the colors of skin and hair. This is a very high priority operation.

I should be able to get in 8-12 hours today.

Sheer determination.
