Feeling like crap

For the last two days i have been feeling depressed, yesterday i even thought (I missed drinking). I posted some pics in the "you look fabulous darling" thread and no one replied to my pics, i'm wondering if people just think i'm ugly,don't like me or are tired of me...sorry i guess. Just a crazy chick, that's what i am...part of me wants to go out tuesday as i am and enjoy myself but i think it's school holiday and kids can be a pain in the ass, i dunno anyway another DonnaTroy rant..ha!

If your starting to miss drinking get yourself to a meeting. Drinking just makes it worse and a meeting makes it better.

I'm not an Alcoholic or anything, it's just i used to drink before whenever i get so depressed that nothing else would help me. I can't drink anymore anyway if i want to keep a fit body i currently have or i might just lose it and that's one of the biggies when it comes to my fears.

Thanks everyone, on another note, someone said my arm in my pics freaks them out . That really hurts my feelings and makes me depressed.

I think you misunderstood that, Donna. They didn't think there was anything wrong with your arm, just that it looked odd due to visual foreshortening because  you were holding the camera. In future photos,  you might try to shoot with a self timer or using a mirror so that you can keep your arm back.

She apologized, so i'm fine but i don't have a tripod/anything high enough to use the self timer and when we rented this house that i'm living in the mirror has some stains that can't be washed away....so the picture comes out looking pretty bad.

The easiest tripod substitute is a small pillow or bean bag. You can set the camera on it and easily tilt it any way you want. Then you can just set it on a bookshelf or a cabinet or something. I even knew a pro photographer who preferred to carry a pillow rather than a tripod.

I like the picture threads. I don't look at the girl ones much, but I think they're a great tool for figuring things out. It can take some nerve to upload pics. You probably do need to get out more, but I don't think this thread is evidence of that.

And really, a lot of people probably just walked away from the site for awhile because it's been difficult to access.

I will second that. When I CAN get on the site I have to reload my page 10 times just to reply because it gets stuck halfway so I just say screw it but Donna you are very beautiful and that person who said your arms freak them out can kiss my boot.

Donna, nobody's going to mock you in a thread you made saying you feel bad. We're not trying to make you feel worse.


Spacial was just pointing out that sometimes photos have odd aspects that aren't really related to whether or not the person is pretty. It seemed a pretty lighthearted reference to a pic that floats around the internet a lot.
