I have found that a lot of the songs that I like, depict the conflict within myself that I had gone thru and am still going thru. Maybe some of you can identify with these also. Some of them almost sound like they were written from the perspective of someone like us. The lyrics work very well.

This was the first song that I heard as I was just coming out of denial that really hit me.

And I LOVE Amy Lee's voice. Especially when you crank the volume.

This song is like years of me denying myself to myself. Inner conflict and whatnot. I love this song.

More hiding the girl within me thru Evanescence . . .I used to listen to this a lot. Glad I finally told somebody. Seriously.

I like how at the end, after somehow fooling everybody (that I'm male), I have become everybody's fool (because I can't be myself now). Ironic.
