I think I screwed up my shot, ouch >__O;

I've been on T for over ten months now, and I do injections at home by myself.
I've never had a problem with it before, and I've only ever had the injection site ache for a day or two after.

Last Sunday, I took my shot, I did it in my outter thigh.
Monday it was a little sore, but no big deal.
But by Tuesday, it had swelled up, and now it's all hard and really painful.
Walking is awful, and I'm not sure what I've done to it >__O;
I'd call my doctor but his office closed down, so I have no doctor right now.

Has this happened to any of you?
And is there anything you did to make it feel better?

I have no clue man. If you don't have a doctor you can usually get looked at by the health department.

It sounds like you might have an infection if the site is really as bad as you make it seem.

If not, you might just need to massage the site. I used to get bumps on my legs that hurt for a couple of days if I forgot to massage my leg - now, they were no where near as painful as what you're describing here, but I also have a high tolerance to pain so I may not be a good judge as to what is painful and what is not sometimes.

I thought about the possibility of having an infection as well.
But it's not hot to the touch (Usually, infections are unusually warm when you touch them)
And it doesn't look aggitated on the outside (I guess that really doesn't mean anything)
Yesterday, I took a hot bath and rubbed it to see if that would help, and nope, not really.

I am not a doctor but I've heard of that happening before, it's probably either a reaction or just some residual hormone/oil left under the skin.  What I would do is use a sharpie to draw an outline of the red part surrounding the bump, if it is red I mean.  If the redness, swelling starts to exceed that line, I'd go to an urgent care clinic, if not, no worries.

But I don't think it's a big deal, I've had it happen to me before and it just took time for it to go away.
