I spent the day at NSPCC volunteer training in London, at their Folgate Street HQ, which was – without a doubt – a lovely experience to say the least. Now, I'm going to dive straight into the topic here. See, during one of our breaks, I and a few other trainees were gathered around sipping cups of tea/coffee and generally having a bit of a chit-chat, and (I think it was after I made a joke-y comment about the idea, that someone else had brought up, that the male volunteers had less clothing to choose from in regards to the volunteer dress code, to which I light-heartedly disagreed and said that they could always wear dresses if they really wanted to) another of the trainees, a retired teacher (and a lovely woman) brought up that she knows a couple who are raising their child (born biologically male) as gender-neutral.
