Our favorite androgynous wonder boy Andrej Pejic was offered a lead role in an upcoming film from director Florence Dewavrin, based off of a freakin' Balzac novel called Séraphita. I think this is the perfect fit for Andrej, especially considering the book is about an androgynous Norwegian boy.

Finally, a movie deal that us fashion folk can get excited about! Rumor has it that Andrej Pejic, everyone's favorite androgynous model, may be cast in movie, and though nothing is set in stone rumor has it that discussions between French director Florence Dewavrin and Pejic have begun about . #Sweet

Florence Dewavrin is looking to develop a movie based on Balzac's "Séraphita" - Quick recap: story surrounding an androgynous youth named Séraphitus who is in love with both a man and a women though the man thinks Séraphitus is a woman. An ideal role for Andrej!

Abbey Lee Kershaw isn't the only Australian überblonde who may be considering a move into movie territory. Frockwriter always thought that the perfect film role for Andrej Pejic might be Pygar the angel in a remake of Roger Vadim's 1968 sci fi classic Barbarella. While the latest Barbarella remake attempt may be stuck in development hiatus, we were very interested to hear that Pejic is currently seriously considering an offer in another film project. Also with a French director as it happens.

Arnaud Vanbleus, Pejic's Paris agent at the New Madison model agency, tells frockwriter that Pejic has been approached by - and has subsequently met with - French director Florence Dewavrin, who is developing a feature based on French writer Honoré de Balzac's novel Séraphita.

Andrej won't be leaving the fashion biz for acting, though the French filmmaker's idea is interesting. Can anyone remember the last time a transgender or crossdressing person became a big movie star? Jaye Davidson was the most successful ever, even scoring an Oscar nom., but he only made 3 films. The movie business loves novelty, but it fades fast.

You clearly underestimate the box office potential of Krystal Summers, star of 2010's Ticked-Off ->-bleeped-<-s with Knives. ;)

I must have missed the month that film was a runaway box office smash at the multiplex.
