I wouldn't put off going to college honestly, if you are in the states Colleges/Universities are feeling the pinch and the state I live in they raised tuition pretty high last year  :icon_sniff: and it is getting a bit tougher to get a better paying career/job with only a H.S Diploma.

At least start towards your college via online if they offer it. Even if its one class at a time, use this option to get some of those pesky minuscule pre-reqs or silly gen ed. requirements out of the way while you take the time to prepare yourself for going to campus and figuring things out. I mean you still get deadlines for projects, homework, and requirements to attend online sessions, but it is tons more flexible in scheduling. If you go that route, you can at least have access to school resources and programs and this will allow you time still to mull things over without having to worry about a hectic schedule.

Personally I like both going to campus and doing the online route. Campus to be around people and for the socialization. Went online due to working a full time job but that job isn't flexible with day hours and I tried the night class routine.  But like i said if anything go that route for pre-reqs or gen ed. requirements if you need them.
