A wind rose on the throughways of Columbia Maryland.  The wind was not the beginning.  There are no beginnings or endings to the Wheel of Time, but it was a beginning.

Which very much sums up how I feel each time I start a new part of my process.  Today I got my papers for my blood work, in two weeks I will have my perscription for my beginning dosage on HRT.  I'm excited, exuberant and exausted......all of which seem to start with ex for some reason.

I'm a bit worried about how my wife is going to take this, this is several weeks sooner than I had originally thought it would be(which makes me a verra happy Trisha!) but I know that she needs time to adjust as things go along too.....

That includes "no coffee" :). Seriously, my endo told that coffee or tea early in the morning can seriously mess up Your prolactine range :)

Wait... does that mean coffee on HRT is a bad thing, or just for the blood test.  This is *IMPORTANT*.  ;)

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

Blood drawn(I really hate needles x.x)!  Sure enough, the wife thinks things are moving too quickly.  There's more to it than that though, she's been somewhat traumatized by seeing what different medications do to peoples' personalities.  Some of her coworkers went on anti-depressents and became zombies, etc.

I can't even say that something like that is impossible, as any time you tinker with hormone levels there's no telling what might happen as far as I can tell.

HRT affected my emotions. I smile more. I laugh more readily. I cry more readily. Things that never would have touched the withdrawn shell of him now openly impact her.

On the whole, I'm happy with my HRT based emotional changes. ;)
