Hello, my name is Shannon now. But hopefully that will be able to change soon. I am mentally male and always have been. Hating the cage of a body that I've been trapped in for 19 years. I really really want to start T and start changing into someone I would actually be proud to be, instead of the loser I am. Having to bind down parts of their body that are completely useless. I want to be who I see myself as on the inside. I just stumbled upon this website in hopes that I can get some kind of acceptance from a community. And also try to get my fears of the change out of my mind.  I hope to get to know some people that have been through it and just ask questions of what to expect.

Hi and welcome to Susans! What name would you like us to use? We don't want to use a name that makes you uncomfortable. Let us know when you've decided. See you around, hugs, Devlyn

Hey welcome to Susans!  :)

Unfortuantly I unable to transition right now so I can't be of much service to you but there are plenty of guys here who have and are going through it and I'm positive that they will be more than happy to answer any question you have to the fullest extent of their knowledge.

Hope to see you around!

Hi Shannon,
A warm Aussie welcome to Susan's. There certainly is no shortage of people like you here, so consider yourself among friends. What Devlyn has said is quite true, with respects to the name you wish to be known by. I know, anyone who calls me by my alter ego male name, simply is ignored.

I'm pleased you have chosen to stop off here. By virtue of the journey you have embarked on, automatically grants you non judgmental acceptance here.

A good way to dispel fears is to bring them out of the recesses of your mind and put them in the light for others to help you with.

As much as I'd love to help you in detail on transitioning on 'T', I feel that there are others here more qualified in that area. I can certainly give you my experiences on 'E', however I feel that would be of little use to you.

Thank you for sharing a part of your life and feelings with us. I hope to hear more of you in time to come, in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
