Thats a really great result for such a relatively low price. Its also quite surprising theres decent surgeons in the UK. I havent researched it much, but always assumed i'd have to go to the US for my FFS; now I'm not so sure.

Oh, and Skyanne - I remember the very first post on the "Could I Pass One Day" thread was yours. Well yes, yes you do hun!  :)

Hello, I am new here. I am looking into going ahead with a consult with Keith Altman. You look fabulous, a very natural result. I was wondering how neat the incisions were and have healed? Thanks

I agree with Jen you look great before.  I think the brow change is the most feminizing change to your face.  Next would be the chin work.  Very nice indeed.

I've been waiting to get them from Mr Altman. I'm actually seeing him again in september myself, maybe we will bump into each other! ^^

I am still very happy with my results btw. :)

Are you guys far from B'ton ?

Best,

Samantha.

I just saw Mr Altman yesterday and got my pre and post surgery side photos, so I thought I would upload as promised. They're not exactly the best photos of me ever taken, but they're good to show the differences in the bone structure of my face after surgery.

Hi there - thanks for posting yr profile pics theyre looking great! I saw Mr Altman on Thursday and travelled down from the North specially - guess we nearly passed one another in the corridor? ;O)

The only area where Im still unsure abt Mr Altman is in the jaw/chin area. He doesnt like doing
jaw angle reductions at all. What he can do is narrow the chin by taking a piece out of the chin
but I dont want to be left with any more saggy skin than I already have as I cant afford a facelift in the forseeable future :-\ So thats one Ive got to weigh up but Ive emailed him a query about this.

He is very thorough and tried to go into as much details as possible.
Grateful for everyone's post s about anxiety attacks and FFS as I had experience of this
earlier in the year and thats really reassuring  ;)

I think I may have seen you just before I went in to see Mr. Altman myself. :)

Hi,
Hope I didnt just walk right by - I didnt see you tho love. I just had a quote from Mr Altman.

For Forehead contouring, scalp advance and browlift, rhinoplasty, liplift and augmentation,
chin reduction and genioplasty (No jaw angle reduction) total cost: £ 13,240 inc of two nights in hosptital and postop check-ups. It works out abt the same as Dr NvdD when I change to Euros.

Hope yr well,
Samantha.

Hello,

Thank you for posting this information about Mr. Keith Altman. I have a consultation booked with him in December. I'm also seeing Mr. Brian Musgrove in December and Dr. Bart in a weeks time. I'm very close to Brighton so Mr. Keith Altman is preferred already due to closeness to home.

Costs wise, if anyone is willing to share, did he break down the costs on his fees? I'm very keen to proceed with jaw and chin surgery. I'm 30 now but 12 years post transition. I had my nose done with mr. Musgrove in 2003 and extremely pleased with the results but there's not a great deal about the overall results jaw/chin wise with Mr. Altman and Musgrove (at least that I have found)

Thanks,
V

Thank you Devlyn.

I think I had found most of those threads but a couple I hadn't so very helpful indeed thanks!

Hopefully the surgeons will have a good amount of before and after to show me, although what they say they can do for me personally will be most important.

I did have a consultation about this with Mr. Musgrove in 2005, but didn't proceed as I was finishing university at the time and couldn't afford it really. However it has always nagged me to some degree, and now I'm fortunately in a position where pretty much I can get it done without having to borrow money hopefully.

His advice at the time was that he didn't feel I needed anything drastic and I think he's overall right, although I do believe my jaw could be brought in somewhat, it's the width of it, the angle at the rear isn't actually a problem, but the width with the masseter muscle is, it's probably in proportion to my chin at the moment, but changing one will adversely affect the prominence of the other.

Thanks again,
V
