We've had a few instances of reputation abuse lately. So, as a warning and reminder to all:
Retaliatory smites are prohibited. You are not permitted to smite someone back for smiting you.
Furthermore, all reputation must be related to the post you clicked on. You can't just click someone's random post in retaliation. If you have a problem with a member or post, report them to the moderators. If you think the smite was unreasonable or in error, you may report it. Only do this if the smite would make no sense to an observer, however. If the smited post could reasonably be construed as rude or in poor taste, accept the feedback and move on.
Retaliatory smites will be reversed and added to your account. So, please no tit for tat smites!
