Eli_

mostly just looking to vent because i am SO frustrated right now and nobody in my life can really understand.  the doctor i see and the pharmacy use are supposed to be a couple of the best in portland, and i heard nothing but get reviews of them but i have had NOTHING but trouble with them.  i have been out of t and waiting for a refill for weeks now and ive called my doctor and pharmacy multiple times and every time they tell me it's all set and then it never shows up.  i HATE how people seem to think that this isnt a life or death kind of medication and it can be late because frankly that's not how it is, for me at least.  i feel so crappy and im just so angry and emotional and completely off and cant get anything done.  im just miserable right now and have been for the past few weeks. i dont understand how they can let this happen and i feel so out of control of my life because ive done everything i possibly can do to get my medicine and it's still not here and i still have no idea when it will be here.

Weird. Both the doctor and pharmacy are saying that? How often do you see your doctor? I ask because I have an appointment every 6 months or so and tend to run out around when my appointment is. Is it possible to go to the doctor in person to speak to somebody?

Eli I'm in Portland. I love my doctor and I have mixed feelings about my pharmacy. I don't know how your insurance is. PM or email me and I'll give you my contact info if you'd like.

I agree that people too often act like this medication is no big deal. Maybe as far as physical health goes it's not unsafe to miss doses, but I start feeling bad if I go more than a week and a half without. I'm sure I'm not the only one like that.

You might want to see about switching to the cream for a couple of months until the supply issues with the injectible T get straightened out. It's actually not that much more expensive at Strohecker's.

I thought this problem was only relevant in Canada?

I may be wrong, but I've yet to have problems getting injectable testosterone in the US.

Oh ok, didn't realize that was only Canada. I don't always pay enough attention to the details when I read. :P

Same. I think the shortage in Canada is infuriating and incredibly irresponsible -- how they just casually tell you that it's been unavailable for months and will remain so indefinitely. I'll probably finish my vial within the next month and I don't know what I'll do if this isn't resolved. Going without it is not an option for my physical and mental well-being.

If there was a barfing emoticon, I would use it here.
