So I started T seven months ago (aged 27) and I's probably on a low dose for 2-3 months but my dose has been increased several times now and I still ain't getting any of the big changes (voice hasn't dropped at all, no beard growth, apart from a tiny happy trail no increase in body hair, no facial changes).

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't upset me all that much, as long as I will change eventually (as I already passed before T and am so used to lowering my voice that i hardly ever hear my "natural" pitch), I'm just wondering if it might be an age thing. Comparing myself to all the 17-20 year old FTMs on youtube etc. might not make too much sense after all? Or maybe it's due to the fact that I'm tall and would need a higher dose still...? Or maybe I have very few testosterone receptors (hell that would suck).
So yeah, I was just wondering if there were any FTMs in their late 20s sharing the same fate....

Well, I don't know whether you want to hear from older guys, and anyway, I had fast and dramatic changes to voice and fat distribution. Hair took longer and is still taking its time. I figure it's genetics. Most guys you talk to will say the same thing.

In the past, I have speculated that the teenagers and twenty-year-olds might get faster changes, but I haven't seen any clear evidence of that. I think it's quite possible that the younger people pass sooner (many even pre-T) simply because they are young. But that's not the same thing as getting faster changes.

Are you sure your voice hasn't changed at all, not even a little?

I'm sorry changes aren't coming along For you. I know it Sucks.

I'm 30 and been on T for over a year and still have not had any drastic changes. I basically look the same as I did pre-T.

I know some changes come faster for others as everyone reacts to T differently.  My voice after a year is still not that deep and I'm not happy about that. But my voice got deeper very gradually that it was hard to notice. People who haven't talked to me in over a year still recognize my voice, but also could tell that it got just a little bit deeper, but not a whole lot deeper.

Do you do voice checks and video checks to see your changes?

Do you do any sort of log to document changes? I know when I started I recorded some audio clips and without these I probably wouldn't have known if my voice changed. If you're not writing or recording things it will be more difficult to notice changes. Take me for example....most folks told me I didn't look different from 4 days on T vs 1 year, but when I did a side by side comparison you do start to notice the differences.
