Hi Jennifer,
Seems the big count down has finally arrived. One exciting month to go.
In answer to your interesting question. HRT has certainly affected my driving

A pleasant 90kph up & down the F3 is now the norm . Gone are the days of 110+, 3" off the car in front. At least 12 feet clearance now.
Certainly empathy and compassion are in the fore front of my outlook on daily life. Softer skin, and, no Psoriasis. It has certainly assisted but by no means the primary cause for my personal development. Choosing to move away from denial and its insidious oppression releases endorphins that move you to places and understandings, that have never been a part of your conscious understanding, and of those, that are vague concepts, previously thought unimaginable, become reality. Well at least that's my theory.
I know we are the lucky ones, we encounter substantial challenges that few people can relate to, or even imagine. Yet throughout those challenges, we laugh we cry, get scared, suffer meltdowns, run and walk, shrink with fear and rise to the occasion, examine life in detail and see the big picture, are immensely sad and gloriously happy. Some of us can even do them simultaneously. We have a greater appreciation of the masculine and know the feminine complexities, we live in isolation then go out and change the world.
Certainly, HRT has turned on receptors in my brain, that previously laid dormant. Where this finally ends up, I don't know, and I doubt if someone does. It's uniquely personal and individual, yet commands a community of its own.
Look forward to the mighty whirlwind of life, you are about to engage. Ensure you remain seated at all times and even though the captain has turned off the 'fasten seatbelts' sign; KEEP IT ON. You are in for the ride of your life.
Be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
