This is an interesting thread.

I am confident I will pursue HRT even though I am more of a fluid type. I've explored almost every avenue in order to make myself more neutral and it's never enough. I don't think that hormones are going to solve this issue entirely of course but I do think they will help.

My advice would be to think through your options, take your time to fully explore yourself and consider the effects/consequences of your actions. Just because society doesn't understand or accept something doesn't mean you should "just choose a side." That's just a warning, it depends on where you're located but you're going to hear that view at least once. I've spent a lot of energy doing that and despite what people say it's not worth it, even if it makes you acceptable to others.

Also keep in mind that the transgender community as a whole has a negative history with members who lie outside the binary, and there are many people who are androphobic (many of them transgender) as well, so their opinions on HRT/transition are biased due to that fact.

Unlike people who lie more within the psych community's "outline", it is harder for androgynes to get access to HRT. It doesn't mean that you should give up if that is something you know you need. Fight the good fight!

I'd say try it on, and see how it goes.  It's a preference, not a moral judgement.

I gotta say, I find it funny that you're using 'andro' as shorthand for 'androgyne', considering how 'andro' is Latin for 'male'...

This!   ROFLMAO  I'd rather be gyny than andro personally, but I totally get those who started on the other side and would rather be andro than gyny. Ain't engrish fun?
