colonoscopy post op dilation

Hi I am still dilating twice a day ( even though im 9 months postop but 2 is alot better then 3 times a day) but my dr whats me to get a colonoscopy. I plan on just doing it once a day for a few days while I get back into the swing of things after. Has anyone els here post op had a colonoscopy? and did it affect dilation in a negative/uncomfortable way? Thanks ladies!

well, its going in the other hole hun so I don't think it will affect you much. The only thing I can think of is if your butt is a bit sore after then dialation might be a little uncomfortable.

Hun,  Play with thy bum ^.^  It's more fun then you would think.  In a stricktly sciency note, the nerves in the bum are linked to the ones in the groin.  But well, Basicly unless they poke something really big in, it won't hurt.  I'm pre op, but well I promise it's jsut really suprising.

I am pre-op, but I have had a colonoscopy.  Generally you are under anesthesia and don't feel a thing.  It should not bother your dilation schedule at all.
