Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me about their experiences on Nebido? I'm in the UK and all other injectable forms of T are unavailable at the present time. I'm on gel as I switched to that when Sustanon became out of stock but I have felt worse and worse over the last few months and have now had two periods (mine stopped two years ago after six months on T). For some reason I am distrustful of Nebido but need to figure out if it's a better option for me.

Also does anyone self inject Nebido?

Thanks

It was my second choice.  Though not using myself (I use enanthate), I know several guys who do and it's very good apparently.  I have only heard positive feedback about it.  But I don't know anyone who self-injects it.

Have you had your levels checked? Seen your GP etc?? I take Reandron/Nebido (same stuff) - it's all I've ever taken. I've not had a problem, few of my changes were a little slower than others but all in all a good experience. And I know the recommended time between shots is 12ish weeks - my GP has me take them every 6-8ish weeks because otherwise my levels drop to the lower end of the male range and I run the risk of all the badness associated with low T. I have stretched it out a few times to see how I react or if I was able to go to 10-12 weeks but I'm happy if the doc is so...

I've not had a period since starting T, but I have recently had a mate who had to change to Reandron after being on Sustanon and he had his period come back after 3 years.. The only thing I can think of is your body adjusting to the Reandron and levels changing etc - but really chat to your GP mate...

I have also self injected a few times. It's harder because it has to go in the glute/ass - I put up a video on youtube of the last time I self injected if you're keen. I can usually only do the one with my right hand because of the way I have to lay and my left hand is a little shaky - though seriously if you have a friend who can do it for you do it! I will be getting a friend who's a nurse to do mine today!

I was on Sustonen for 10 years, then nothing for 8 years and now Reandron (Nebido) for 18 months.  I feel far better than I ever did on sustonen/not on anything but it's definatley a personal thing.  I feel like I'm 'on the right meds'.

I use Nebido injections just had my second injection yesterday, I've only been on Nebido for 6 weeks, but so far I do not have bad experience with it.

It's a slow release Testosterone injected into a muscle, I do not inject myself because I inject into the hip muscle and I am not comfortable with injecting myself as of yet. My sister came with me to my first injection and learned how to do it, She injected me for my second shot without problems.

Seeing as after the first 2 injection you are injected every 8-12 weeks, I dont see a need to become comfortable with self injection because they are so far between.

The injection itself in my experience is not at all painful, the needle is huge and is injected into a muscle and the solution is thick, but I dont feel it to be any more or less painful than any other injection I've had. The only difference for me personally is that it takes a bit of time getting the solution into your body due to the thickness.

Side Effects I have had is 1-2 days after both my injection my pee had a really strong smell of sulfur, both times it didn't last more than a couple of days.  I do not feel spikes and lows from my first couple of injection and my monthly has completely stopped.

It does take Nebido a little while to maintain hormone balance and even out, so dont worry if you started your monthly it probably will not happen again, and if it does, have your hormone balance checked.

I've only been 6 weeks on T and I already have a coloured peach fuzz  mustache and on my chin, seems to work nicely on facial hair I already have to shave.  Maybe its my genetics tho.

Give Nebido a chance and try switching to the injections, its much less hassel and given some time will give you more stable hormone levels.

Hey,

Im in the UK too, and I started off on Sustanon for the first 8months, then switched to Nebido when Id be going abroad for 10 weeks.
I prefer Nebido in the sense that, I have my shots every 12 weeks as opposed to having the hassle of getting my Dr to inject me every few weeks (although I have been asking to be taught to learn to self inject for about a year now! :p).
Ive not experienced any negative effects with nebido, no ill effects or reversed effects i.e no "shark" week, or whatever nickname it may be called, has come back.
It all just seems much more convenient.
I do think that having it done every 12 weeks, as I do, has me with my T levels at a constant low though. I have had my levels checked and they come out as 15 something or the other, and the woman at my clinic says it "should" be between 18-29, but she wont change it. I dont know, I dont really get all that, but other than me thinking my levels are abit below average, Nebido is fine. It makes life easier as Im looking at what, 4 shots a year? Thats great, less hassle, less reminder of what Im going through :p
I wouldnt worry about it. Aslong as youre levels are being monitored and checked on, there shouldnt be a problem.
