What's the first article of women's clothing that you own?

I finally bought my first piece of women's clothing two days ago! I was sitting at the library, studying/ writing essays and I realized my knees were really cold, so I used that as an excuse to buy this:

My first one was a two piece bathing suite I burrowed  from my older sister

The first one that I bought with my own monies (earned not given) was a pair of black patent leather "Mary Jane's" shoes.

Hello... I'm new around here.

Well, I been using and wearing ladies gloves for years purely because my hands are truly tiny. Small men's gloves are simply too big!!

The first article of clothing for me was actually quite a bit of clothing. My first day in Seminary was the first day I went full time so I needed a new wardrobe.

They were pretty much jeans, ankle length skirts, knee length skirts, a pantsuit, sweaters, blouses, stuff like that.

Mine was a sweater dress before starting transition... and then i discovered I look horrible in that And definitely should stay away from things that show the shoulders. I never wore it out or anything, just kind of a test to try and imagine if things might work out or not...

After that, I didn't buy any female clothes for a year. When I finally did, I got a couple androgynous tops and a lighter colored trench coat (to replace my black coat).

A pair of black boots with 3" chunky heels - still my favourite.  I had things in the past when I was still in denial, but those are all longs since purged.  Now, I'm expanding the collection

In this order....some short skirts. short shorts, some tops...and a bunch of Victoria's secret undies...since all my (ugh) boy boxers got filed away out of my sight also put away a bunch of mens pants, shirts and coats because now I cant STAND to see them in my closet.

Oy, way back when I bought a woman's article of clothing for the first time, I was so scared out of my mind I barely saw what I was getting. It was this big, blocky, ugly plaid top. But I loved it, because it was one of the first articles of clothing that allowed me to show a side of myself I never had before. It's still in my closet.

that's same reason why I'd never get rid of my first guitar, and I have 5 of them... o.o

I went into a thrift shop and came out with a short skirt and some used red heels.... the lady at the counter said "nice heels" with other people standing in line right behind me - i about died of embarrassment and could not get out of there fast enough

Still have the skirt but sadly the heels were too big and i threw them away.
