Just wanted to introduce myself to all the wonderful people here @ Susan's. I've been coming here reading and learning for a long time now. I am a 40 yo mtf. I have been struggling with my feelings for many years now but now I am beginning to accept who I really and truly am or at least who I was supposed to have been. I have a very supportive & loving wife of 19 yrs. She has always been there for me thru thick and thin and I thank her for that. She IS my rock, my better half , my soul mate. We have 3 kids ages 23, 22, and 10. And 2 grandkids. I am just starting my journey into womenhood. About 2 months ago I started eletrolysis and 2 days ago had my first therapy session. I was sooo nervous on the 3 hr drive to her office but she was great. She put me at ease within minutes. Guess thats enough rambling for now , talk to yall later

Welcome, kountrygurl.

I started transitioning in earnest at about age 41. My kids, ages 23 and 20, as well as my ex-wife have been great during this process. And, yeah, a good therapist can really help make things a lot less scary than they can be at times.

If you haven't already done so, please review the site rules and terms of service.

Enjoy your stay!
