I don't know if you guys/girls think this or not but I think there is a bit of magic in Fortune Cookies. Many a time I have opened one and it has applied to me but not to those with me...how is that possible? And it happens everytime too! Anyways, I've been a little depressed today and my mom brought chinese home since its friday (woot Tofu!) and when I opened my cookie this is what it said:
Be yourself and you'll feel at home anywhere
By all that is holy and just, that is what I needed to hear! My mother has been ziltch on support though she claims she backs me and I've been really struggling to figure out how I'm going to make my place in this world. I really felt a boost in myself after reading that little piece of paper and I feel like I can tackle the world! That may sound stupid but right now, I really don't care ^o^
