my slightly overdue intro post

Hi All,

I've been around in chat for awhile now, and registered here for I'm not sure how long, but never quite got around to doing an intro post.

I think that's probably due to the fact that I got used to hiding anything to do with who I am and so on.

Luckily I've gotten over my old self, and am making the changes I need for me and couldn't be happier about it.
