I'm starting to feel like an under-achiever now. I thought I was past that when I graduated college. *sigh*

after about a week my nipples became sensitive... after about 3 weeks i felt a lump starting grow under my nipple and nipples starting expanding to a more female look..  I started wearing sports bra at this point to help protect my growing breast.

A-cup came around the 3 month mark and at this time i stopped wearing sports bra's and started wearing everyday bras.. now I am about a 1 and 4 months in.. and I have lovely C-cup breasts.. I love my boobs.. I wear plenty of low cut tops to show off my clevage.

Wait, 14 months in and you got C-cups, or 4 months in and you got those? Because that would seem weird, given that you were A cup at the 3 month mark.

Yeah, my aerola diameter amost double in diameter, and is rised. I do have some fat accumulation as well as glandular tissue
Mine personally quadrupled in size. I had small nipples for a male before now I have pretty large nipples for a female.

Aside from that a peanut appeared early on behind my nipples then got bigger until it was the size of a walnut then fat accumulated after that the walnut decided to grow "roots" into the fat.

I´m 31 now and was on hrt 2 years before grs and had only very little growth. Almost nothing really. But still they where painful all the time. Before surgery I paused for 4 weeks and the little that was there went away. Now post op and on low dosage and something is happening but not much. At least there is no pain now. I am skinny. I guess that´s the problem. But I am hoping now that more will happen since the testosterone factories are out. At least many have said that it works better post op. I don´t know.
Don´t expect miracles but if you get them be happy...

@2 weeks low E had funky nipples, and vague discomfort around them and then it all settled down and nothing happened.
7 weeks - sort of vague puffiness in the areola, nipples poke out a bit with temperature changes and they're sort of pointy.

Fat distribution though has happened relatively quickly.  Usually when I exercise I lose weight from the hip area, then the waist - this time though it's going from the waist and tending to stay around the hip area.  I just hope I don't end up with tuck shop lady's arms as my shoulder muscles atrophy*lol*

It looks like people whose HRT was instilled gradually had better results. If that's true, I'm even more worried about having been put on the maximum dose after only a week.

Spiro cannot and should not be prescribed at  the highest clinical endpoint dose; the same could be said about E, but age, cardiovascular risk, and liver function are of critical importance.

PS I am not a doctor, I just stayed at the Holiday Inn Express

Well, it's not really the "highest dose" there is. Just the highest recommended dose for treatment of transsexualism. The guideline documents for doctor I read said to start at 1/4 or 1/2 my dose, then "gradually" increase up to a maximum of my dose.

The endo told me: "If you want, you can go gradually, like, take 1/2 dose for a week, then add the second half after another week"... I found that a little fast/much, especially since it's generally better to stay at the lowest effective dose, but I trusted his experience and confidence. He even said that going gradually for a week wasn't really necessary. But now I'm sort of worried. It should be safe, especially since I'm relatively young, but I don't know about the end results.

By the way, I don't take spironolactone. They prescribe cyproterone here.

Oh, and I didn't understand the thing about the Holiday Inn.

In my book cypro = risk

The Holiday statement is sort of a disclaimer that I am not giving medical advice. It come from a commercial by "Holiday Inn Express" that claims that if you sleep in their Hotels you would be come and expert, very knowledgeable. :)

At about 2-3 weeks on estrogen, progesterone, and spiro, my nipples began to get very sensitive. I dropped a USB flash drive into my shirt pocket and even that touch hurt enough to make me gasp. Like others mentioned, it was like a lump under the nipple that was really tender and sore for some months.

I'm 11 months into HRT and my breastlings are still quite small. But, they are noticeable enough for me to have some slight cleavage and the tenderness has subsided.

I've heard that one can expect that HRT could result in breasts that are about a cup size smaller than close female relatives. If this is true, I might be looking at nothing larger than an A cup without breast augmentation surgery.

Also, I didn't starty HRT till I was nearly 42-years-old. So, I'm guessing that having only T in my system for nearly 42 years might have something to do with the fact that changes are happening slowly.

I've been on a low dose of Estradiol for nearly 6-months now. I started off with a really atheltic, muscular body and its mostly the same, with the exception of my "moobs"! My friends who I haven't told slaughter me relentlessly about my new figure! Physical activity can be quite uncomfortable with all the new sensitivity and in the coming weeks i'll have to invest in a sports bra.

Also, if I end up with similar sized bresticles to my family, i'll have to carry them in a wheelbarrow! (my female relatives are tremendously busty!)

I've been on oestrogen for nearly 7 months and all I have are small fatty build ups, no glandular tissue or anything :(

Been on different types and levels of estrogens since the mid 90's. My experience is that what is a typical few years of development for genetic females is definitely not applicable for transsexuals. I had breast buds for a long time but last year the gland mass that was relatively small began to get a lot bigger and very girly. So don't lose heart and get implants, you may be surprised.

I've been on spiro and estradiol for a little over 8 years and still only have an a cup.  But then I'm 5'10" and only weigh 135 pounds too. But then my little sister has about the same size breasts as I do too, only she's like tiny, she's around size zero or so.

well, I may end up a B cup. my A cup bra is starting to get a little tight. But we will see. My Doctor started me out on the maximum dosage of spiro that was recommended and started my estradiol off at a low dosage. She said she's seen poor results when starting out with everything ramped up at 11.

hehe... Spinal Tap reference there. ;)

Genetics plays a big part, although you are a bit light weight relative to your height. I know some people just can't arbitrarily put on weight, but you could probably benefit from a few more pounds.

My smoking a pack of cigarettes a day doesn't help either. My job keeps me on my feet moving for more than 8 hours a day and starting work caused me to drop almost 18 or so pounds in the last year. So with the increased activity and smoking, its just been impossible to keep weight on.  The recent pic of me standing in my living room though is at my current weight, so its not terribly bad, just lost some butt, boobs and a little thigh. But then if you had seen pictures of my figure before the weight loss, it was a bit better than it is now, even my size 8 jeans are a little loose on me and I've already poked about 4 new holes in the belt I wear most often.

Another ten pounds and you'd be just about perfect female weight! Back when you were still probably just a twinkle in your daddy's eye, I quit my two pack a day Pall Mall habit. (1976) My breath smelled like ->-bleeped-<- and the index and middle finger on my right hand was stained so brown you'd think they belonged to an East Indian and I had greasy looking hair all the time. One morning after coughing up a big green lunger (not pretty) I decided that smoking was a dead end and quit cold turkey though I had been smoking for 18 years. Get the patch if you have to but quit! You can do it sweetie, you'll get that ten pounds back on and be healthier and last longer. Do it for yourself Jaime!

I'm 5'5, 171lb. I'm trying to lose some of my belly weight. You'd think working where I'm at would cause me to lose a bunch of weight, but the sweating and excersise doesnt really help much except to maybe keep me from gaining more weight.
