No experience with patches.
But I always heard you're supposed to put those on your bum.

Maybe I'm gullible  ;D

Just put the patch anywhere it is not very visible. These are the kind of things better asked in person to your doctor, by the way.

Yes I believe patches usually go on the abdomen, though I think on the bum should be fine as well~

It probably is. Ask your doctor or pharmacist (and I really, REALLY wonder how those people could have neglected teaching you how to use them) to be sure, though.

I haven't used patches, sadly, but whenever I read about them, it said to put it on your hip or lower back, and to switch sides with each application.

Yeah, abdomen area is usually the best. The uptake of a patch is better when placed on the fattest part. All hormones work best when placed in/on the fatty tissue and they seep more evenly into your system due to the lower bloodflow, hence why people who have to take insulin shots always inject into fat tissue.

Personally, I place mines near/around my hips but thats mainly so I can keep an eye on it! If it was on my bum i'd constantly be worrying if it fell off :P

When I tried patches a few years ago I would put on three or four at once! but I personally didn't find them very effective though.
