How about outside at the beach :-)

Great! You seem brave. I may try it too, but fall already comes. We will have the 3rd typhoon this weekend.

I joined a small meeting at my alma mater in Seoul yesterday. A retired professor, who taught us when I was an undergraduate student there,  saw me wearing the same red skirt, saying hello to me.

I wore high heels. Just a Japanese colleague mentioned it. I took subways to get the airport after the meeting. As I carried a huge bag, it was not easy to walk in transitions and I sweated a lot. At the airport, I changed with flat sandals.

Meeting people who've known you from awhile back can always be tricky. You're one of the best examples I know of, though, of something I often tell people: the best way to be different and accepted is to look as good and appropriate to the occasion as possible.

Lyric.
Indeed. The professor is a very intelligent guy. He infrequently saw me and probably knows that I am a kind of transgender. Some aged professors accept me well, but others say like "I am fine, but I worry that other people may negatively react to you" and etc. My colleagues at my department now seem to be adjusted to me. Sometimes they joke on my ->-bleeped-<-.

While traveling the mainland during the last 3 days, I took photos to upload to facebook. After walking more than 3 miles, my toes became sore. The heels are too high to walk comfortably, but anyway I am to endure it for vainity.

You look totally stunning in those, Barbie. I hope your friends' wives don't see these pics and get the wrong idea. As for 3 miles in high heels-- you remind me of a mantra chanted by a famous Texas cheerleading group: "beauty knows no pain" .

Good to see you have a lot of accepting friends.

Yes.  Joann.

Almost all people accept me, although they do not entirely agree with me. They seem to think I am a kind of entertainer, making people happy.

At airport, I showed my ID while wearing the skirt. No problem. My little daughter saw me wearing the skirt. No problem. More than 200 people probably saw those photos in facebook, but no negative comment yet. My colleagues seem to think that my wearing heels and skirts is fine, only if it is just outside of the campus.

Lyric,

Yes. Those are my old friends who were with me since elementary school. Some of them remember that I was feminine, but others do not recall anything. Actually, people think I am a kind of entertainer.

Cheers,

Joann, I think it is a kind of outdoor pic.

Temperature here suddenly dropped today, and I feel that the fall arrived. My fashion items for this fall are not yet prepared and I am thinking what I will wear in October when I have may schedules to tour, including visiting Argentina (it will be spring there).

Anyway, my photos taken in fall several years ago.

Hi ShaunaNinjagirl,

Lovely pics to share. I see you are from Alberta. Do you mind if ask where and the area of the beach scenes? I understand if this is too personal. I have been to Calgary & Banff.

Cheers

ShaunaNinjagirl,

When I get my wife retired (quite a few year away yet) we plan to go by your way driving up to the Yukon. Back in the 80's I skied at Big White, stayed in Kelowna and have seen that lake. My Sis and her family live in Vancouver and have been there many times. Thanks for sharing.

Today I walked at a scenery site here with my family and guests. As other girls here wear leggings under short pants or miniskirts, I just followed that style. Plain and comfortable. No need to concern about passing.

It became suddenly hot and I sweated a lot. A lot of foreign tourists, especially from China and Japan.

You put up lots of nice pics Barbie, and the scenery looks amazing. Where do you live? Looks warmer than where I am at. Winter comes early in Alberta, I am just hoping that I don't see snow by Halloween.
