This might be a strange question since they sound somewhat unrelated, but it's worth a shot.
Have any of you had any kind of anxiety issues, that lessened when on T? I really don't know if those two could be related in any way, but I do get horrible anxiety and I'm kinda wondering if being on T will help that at all.

I think it's more common for people with social anxiety related to being transgender to go away or be lessened from hormones since people start seeing you as you see yourself. I had an increase in anxiety. Pre-T I knew I wasn't being seen as male because of not being on hormones. Once on hormones and having very little difference socially, I felt more anxiety. Throw in a slowly increasing fear of needles and self injecting and you've got a boost in anxiety.

Well, for me to see, T dosen't nessesarry makes its better, you can still have it after you start T,
but it dosen make it worse..

I have full blown panic attacks. My docs all know and are comfortable with giving me T. I sometimes worry that T will make my anxiety spike but I realize that men have panic attacks too. If something bad happens I know I can go off T and find some other solution.

Actually that's something I've noticed recently. Since starting T my anxiety levels have definitely lessened. I mean they're still there but they're not as bad. Testosterone has worked better for my mood and anxiety than any kind of medication they put me on xD.

My anxiety has way, way lessened since starting T.  I'm a lot more confident, actually talk to strangers (not bad ones of course), and make new friends.  Top surgery has helped even more.  I used to take 30 mg of buspar (anti-anxiety med) and have an emergency ativan (benzo) or two.  Now I just take 10 mg of buspar and only stay on it to help regulate my moods (totally off label use).

I thought that T would make my social anxiety go away, got on T and was still like that.  So I figured once I had top surgery it'd go away since I'd be comfortable, but it was still there.  Now I'm happy and comfortable in my own skin and my social anxiety is still there.

Wish I could share a more positive story haha.

The T for me has a calming affect, so I have noticed that I am just more chill in general. I wasn't a particularly anxious person to begin with though, and all of my anxiety was pretty manageable, so I was lucky.
