Hi everyone,

I just posted on this site for the first time in hopes to strengthen my relationship with my fiancé who is FTM. I wanted to introduce myself here so that I can maybe help someone else along the way.

My name is Christine. I am an SO with an interesting background of my own..
I am not Transgendered, however, I met my fiancé because a few years back I started living androgynously and trying to decide if I was FTM or not. I had always grown up with a feeling that I should have been born male, which was confusing, but through myself into ultra feminine lifestyle once I hit high school because my body was so undeniably female. (I wore a size 34 G bra, sort of hard to bind)

After quite a few years of battling, I finally cut off all my hair, changed my clothing, and started to the best of my ability binding. I learned a lot about myself and met a lot of amazing people with a lot of amazing stories along the way. After awhile living that way, some switch flipped in me, and I felt completely female for the first time in my life. So I grew my hair out and went back to living an ultra feminine lifestyle.

However, I think my journey was meant to happen so that I could meet my wonderful fiancé. So that I could understand him on a level that someone who has never had those type of feelings themselves could not. I came here for advice on the first thing in our relationship that I couldn't understand. But, I want everyone here to know that I am a resource. That I am here to be anyones friend and confidant. And that I may be able to give some valuable input that someone who has never been down the exact path I went down can give.

I look forward to meeting you all and talking with you all

Hey, Christine, nice to meet you!

Glad you're here. You ought to touch base with my fiancee, LoveInMyEyes. I'm sure you girls would have a lot to talk about! She's been pretty great at putting up with me though. :)

Welcome!
Stop wasting time explaining yourself to others. – Your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe it anyway. Just do what you know in your heart is right.
